About Us

About Us Welcome to SF Bay Homes! My name is Cliff Keith, and I have been a licensed real estate Broker in the State of California since 1976. During my tenure as a Realtor, I have been a member in good standing in both the State and Federal Organizations for Realtors, (CAR & NAR).

Over the past 36 years I have also been a member of the local Boards of Realtors who are now known as SamCar and SILVAR. I have chaired several committees and sat on others committees. I have been awarded various awards along with certificates of appreciations including the prestigious “Golden Rule” Award, which is given by my peers, by popular vote.

My life as a Realtor started in Burlingame and Foster City with C-21 Bennett Properties for a period of 8 years. I then associated myself with Fox and Carskadon including all their name changes over the next 25 where they ended up under the franchise of Coldwell Banker. Currently I am a Broker Associate with Today | Sotheby’s International Realty.

I have been a consistent top tiered real estate professional while working for the three companies that hired me as an independent contractor. This has been demonstrated by the various levels of accomplishment awards given to me over the years.

I have been married to my wife Diane Flynn Keith since 1977 and we have two wonderful sons, Nick and Chad. My wife is a well-known author and public speaker. My sons are both professional musicians.

I am a veteran who served in the US Army and was part of the Division Recon for the 9th Cavalry, which you may know better as the “Buffalo Soldiers”.  We were the “tip of the sword” in Vietnam.

Prior to entering the armed forces I was a baker. I am a third generation baker and the name sake for my grandfather who started Keith Bakery and later Banner Bakery in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois.

I have sat on various City of Redwood City commissions and committees. I have chaired and Vice Chaired on every commission and committee I sat on. There are community benefits that are still in operation today, which were started during my time of serving my community. Most notable to most are the concerts in the parks series that are performed during the summer months in Stafford Park. These concerts are supported and enjoyed by all those within the community who still attend them to this day.

I now find myself enjoying gardening during my spare time from real estate. I try to grow everything from seeds I have saved from the previous year’s growth. This is true for both my vegetables and flowers. I have had good success with this and love to watch my garden grow. It is the focal point for people and children who pass my home and I share my knowledge, experiences, and bounty with them.

Some people ask me how I do so well with my plants and I reply…I go back to my days of baking and think of the soil like a batter of dough. To make it into a loaf of bread you need certain ingredients in the right ratio and mix them thoroughly. I do the same for my soil to get the result I want. Only unknown is “Mother Nature”, sometimes she may not go along with what you want!
