Bum Steer: Release ladybugs to control garden pests.

There is no doubt about it ladybugs are beneficial insects for your garden that will eat aphids, mites, and other pests you want out of your garden.  The problem is when you release ladybugs in your garden they rarely if ever stay around for the feast you hope they will have in your garden.  They will more than likely fly off and set up home somewhere else.  You see ladybugs are that fond of groups. They are loners.

If you do release ladybugs they will help your neighbor’s garden so why not suggest to your neighbor to release ladybugs and you may find his/hers will fly over to your garden and make their home in your yard.

If you are looking for natural ways to control your garden’s pests then don’t use any of the broad-spectrum pesticides, which kill both good and bad insects.  Having a pesticide free garden allows for natural predators into your garden to eat those pesky bad bugs and keep them under control
